Study of Noise Annoyance and Vibration of Constructal Designed Window Air Conditioner

Industrial, residential and commercial noise levels are to be maintained for acoustic comfort living conditions. Sound annoyance is a sensation of discontentment linked with any driving force from machines or circumstance. It certain that, can harm human hearing capacity brain neuron cells. Novelty this study was the design window air conditioner modified heat exchanger coils phase change material water were used as refrigerants. Noise vibration assessment constructal designed (CDWAC) normal (NWAC) conventional vapor compression system carried out. The levels, daily exposure level, criteria developed found satisfactory according British Standard 4142 at work regulations 1789.
 CDWAC exhibited better performance around 50 dB whereas NWAC 60 dB.
 For AC RMS value about 0.62 0.38. peak amplitude observed 0.346 m/s2 in it 0.512 compressor. very nominal between 2 2.5 s variation same 1.5 s. Results reveal that construction than NWAC.
